Legacy Ladder

How it works

Lock a slice of every month. Get it back, every month.

Each month’s deposit becomes one rung of a ladder, locked for 10 years and staked while it waits. Keep it up and, from year eleven, one rung matures every month.

How it works

The life of one rung

Every deposit you make goes through the same four stages.

  1. 1

    Deposit

Send BNB, from 0.01 BNB, any month. That deposit becomes one rung, and its 10-year clock starts the moment it lands.

  2. 2

    Split

At least 70% goes into your retirement bucket, which nothing can unlock early. Up to 30% goes into an emergency bucket you can sell if life demands it. You choose the split when you deposit.

  3. 3

    Stake and compound

The whole rung is staked with BNB Chain validators. 70% of the rewards stay inside and compound; 30% go to a treasury that depositors control by vote. Nothing drips out along the way.

  4. 4

    Mature and claim

10 years later the rung is yours. Claim all or part of it whenever you like; if the BNB has to be unstaked first, that takes about 7 days. A rung you haven't claimed keeps earning.

Structure

Every deposit splits in two

Retirement schemes keep part of your money reachable for emergencies and the rest out of reach. Your deposits split the same way, permanently, the moment they land.

70% Retirement
30% Emergency
Bucket A · RetirementCannot be sold, transferred or withdrawn. It matures after 10 years and not a day before. No fee unlocks it, because none exists.
Bucket B · EmergencyCan be sold to another person for stablecoin, at whatever price they will pay to wait out the rest of your lock. It can be sold, but never withdrawn early.

By design

What Legacy Ladder will never do

A savings protocol should be boring. These are the lines it is designed not to cross.

Never

Touch your principal

Depositors vote through the DAO to change validators and spend fee income. No vote can move a deposit, change a maturity date, or reach your shares, and the team holds no role at all.

Never

Let anyone withdraw early

Not you, not us, not for a fee. The retirement bucket matures on schedule, full stop.

Never

Hold your keys

Your wallet owns your ladder. It can be a multisig or a smart account if you want recovery or inheritance built on top.

Never

Bridge your funds

Your BNB stays on BNB Smart Chain and is staked natively, with no bridge or wrapped token in between. Bridges are where this industry loses the most money.

Never

Pay you a drip

Monthly income is exactly what you joined to stop spending, so yield compounds inside until the rung matures.

Never

Promise a return

Returns depend on the asset. The calculator shows what happens at 0% growth too.

Who it’s for

Built for income that arrives in crypto

Paid in crypto

Developers, designers and operators who draw a salary in BNB, ETH or stablecoins, and have no pension scheme behind them.

Paid per project

Freelancers and creators whose income arrives in bursts, and who want the good months to count for something later.

Paid in tokens

Founders and contributors who know exactly how tempting a strong week is, and would rather decide once than every week.

Designed for 1–10% of what you earn. Not for all of it.

Status

Where things stand

Legacy Ladder is live on BNB Smart Chain and has not been independently audited yet. Deposit caps written into the contracts limit how much is at risk while it is young, and rise on a fixed schedule nobody can speed up.

  1. Protocol specification Done

Cohorts, the 70/30 split, share accounting, the emergency-share market and the DAO, written down and published.

  2. Smart contracts Done

Vault, market and depositor DAO. Open source, tested against a copy of BNB Chain mainnet, verified on Sourcify.

  3. BNB Smart Chain launch Live

Deployed 14 September 2026. Deposits of 0.01 to 10 BNB; the whole pool is capped at 100 BNB, rising 50 BNB a month, with the cap removed after three years.

  4. Depositor DAO Live

Protocol fees and the choice of validators are decided by depositor votes. The team holds no role in any contract.

  5. Independent security audit Not yet

Not done yet. Until it is, the deposit caps keep the amount at risk small. Deposit only what you could afford to lose.

  6. Ethereum Undecided

Possibly later, as a separate deployment. Nothing is planned or promised.
